Direct answer

Can an Indian citizen buy property in Dubai?

Indian citizens can generally buy eligible freehold property in designated Dubai areas, subject to the project, transaction documentation, payment route and current UAE and Indian requirements. A buyer should separately verify title or project registration, escrow details for off-plan property, the sale agreement, total acquisition costs and any India-side foreign-exchange or tax obligations.
